It's still pretty new so I am not sure how the durability will be but so far I am VERY happy with it. So far, no problems with it at all and the 6 yr old has no trouble making the rockets fly. By the way, the jr glow rockets work great with this. I am so happy that I bought this for my 6 yr old grandson. Everyone in the family loves playing with it.
Recommended. They love showing this off to their friends but besides the initial excitement this toy has little to offer. It is fairly durable, contains multiple rockets (incase any should get lost like ours did).
You can tilt the rocket to go straight up or sideways or any direction you wish. We've only had it for about a month so I am not sure if it is durable. I would say it is a good toy for his age. this was a good purchase for my 5 year old son. It does go far if you jump on it hard enough.
The rockets themselves aren't too expensive, so I'm probably going to buy a few here and there for back ups. I got the stomp rocket because it was cheap and looked like fun. The rockets, however, were all lost Christmas morning. WRONG.
My 6 year old brother is a whirlwind. But with Captain Destruct-o and a 260lb man going at this thing like crazy, the only thing they managed to do was get the rockets WAY higher than 200ft. We eventually got 2 of them back, but they've already been lost again. His family nickname is "Captain Destruct-o", and with good reason.
I received it on time right before Christmas and it is still sitting, completely intact, in my front yard. Definitely a great buy, and obviously very durable. The boy hasn't failed to destroy a toy yet, excluding his Wii. That way, I wouldn't be too mad once he destroyed it.
A great gift idea for any kid--and relatively cheap. It is ready to play with as soon as you open the box (which is a big deal to kids--no untying cords, no pocketknives needed, no major plastic packaging, etc). It went a LONG way. You slip on a foam rocket and then you stomp on the plastic air pad.
I bought this toy for my sister's boyfriend's son. $11 was totally worth it. The kids really enjoyed it but I think every adult in the room also had a go at it. I didn't know what he was interested in so I took a chance on the Stomp Rocket.
We used it indoors since it was snowing outside and it was perfectly safe. I will definitely buy this product again. It was a huge hit for everyone at my family's Christmas. It is incredibly easy to use.
